Nestled on a 4500 foot high bluff in beautiful Maggie Valley, North Carolina, you'll find historic Smokey Shadows Lodge.

Built in 1953 of native stone and hand-hewn chestnut logs, Smokey Shadows is a rustic country lodge with all charm and character of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Smokey Shadows is open year round. This is the perfect setting for your special occasion, holiday celebration, or just an escape to spend some quiet reflecting hours. As gracious hosts we will be most happy to accommodate you and your needs.

We are located just 30 minutes west of Asheville and border the Blue Ridge Parkway which runs through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We are just off Ski Mountain Road which leads to Cataloochee Ski Area, a great recreation in winter.

Smokey Shadows Lodge has been the proud host to VIPs from the Smithsonian Institute, McDonald's Association, a chapel for weddings and a star for the filming of Tennessee's 'Fire on the Mountain. Featured in Blue Ridge Magazine and Log Home Living.
