| As a child, Ginger would
travel from Miami to Maggie Valley each year for vacation. Hikes in the
surrounding woods, cookouts and bonfires, home cooked meals, scenic
drives through the Smoky Mountains along the breathtaking Blue Ridge
Parkway only minutes from the lodge, square dancing in the valley and
great souvenir shopping were all cherished memories.
Over
the years, Ginger and her husband Bud, along with their children, would
continue to carry on the Smokey Shadows tradition. Until the day came
that Ginger and her family decided to make Smokey Shadows their
permanent home and have been reliving childhood memories every day
since.
Now,
the Shinns dedicate their lives to creating those same memories for all
who visit!
